In the Time of Heroes came into existence in June of 2004 and began playtesting. As the members of Star Trek: A Call To Duty clambered for new and varied roleplaying experiences, it was decided that A Call To Duty Role-Playing would be born and be an umbrella for several different genre based games, of which ITOH is one.

It is through the efforts of a number of people, this system of on-line D&D came to be. ITOH was officially launched on September 4, 2004.
Now independantly owned, but still affiliated with A Call to Duty Roleplaying, In The Time of Heroes is entering its 3rd year of operation.
